You may use the Site only if you are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and are capable of forming a legally binding contract. By using the Site or purchasing from us, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.
4. International Users
The Salon Social is operated from Virginia, United States. We may offer products, memberships, and subscriptions to users in the United States, United Kingdom, and other countries. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you are responsible for complying with laws that apply in your location. Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any consumer rights that cannot legally be waived under the laws of your country, including applicable UK consumer protection laws.

Share membership materials with non-members
Share your login details with others
Upload our templates to public platforms for resale or redistribution
Claim our work as your own original product
Use our materials to create competing template libraries, content memberships, courses, or paid programs
Use our materials for client work unless we have given written permission
Remove copyright, branding, or proprietary notices
Resell, sublicense, transfer, or redistribute our templates or membership content Unauthorized use may result in termination of access and possible legal action.
6. License for Digital Products and Membership Content
When you purchase or download a product from The Salon Social, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the product for your own business. Unless otherwise stated, each purchase or subscription grants access for one business only. You may not: Share files with other businesses
Share membership access with teammates, contractors, or clients unless your plan specifically allows it
Resell or redistribute the templates
Repackage the content as your own product
Use the materials inside your own course, membership, template shop, or paid program
Use our materials to provide social media services to clients without written permission If you need a team license, agency license, or multi-business license, you must contact us for written approval.
7. Accounts and Login Information

8. Purchases, Payments, Currency, and Taxes
When you purchase a product, service, membership, or subscription, you agree to provide accurate payment information and authorize us and our payment processors, such as Stripe, Squarespace Payments, or other checkout providers, to charge your payment method. Prices may be listed in U.S. Dollars, British Pounds, or another currency depending on your location, checkout page, or offer. You are responsible for any applicable taxes, VAT, duties, currency conversion fees, bank fees, or payment processing fees based on your location and payment method. 9. Digital Products, Instant Access, and Refunds
Our products and membership materials are digital in nature. This may include downloadable templates, Canva templates, guides, captions, calendars, videos, and other digital resources. Due to the digital nature of our products, all sales are generally final once the product has been delivered, downloaded, accessed, or made available to you, unless otherwise required by law. For UK customers, where applicable, by purchasing digital content and accessing it immediately, you acknowledge that you may lose any legal cancellation right once the digital content has been supplied or access has begun, to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you experience technical issues accessing your purchase, contact us and we will make reasonable efforts to assist you. This refund policy does not affect any legal rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
10. Memberships and Subscriptions
If you purchase a membership or subscription from The Salon Social, you agree to the subscription terms presented at checkout.

Other digital content made available inside the membership By subscribing, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Your subscription will continue and renew automatically unless you cancel before the next billing date. You are responsible for: Keeping your payment method updated
Managing your subscription
Cancelling before your next billing date if you do not want to be charged again
Ensuring your email address and account information are correct Membership content and features may change over time. We may add, remove, update, or replace templates, resources, bonuses, or training materials at our discretion.
11. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription according to the cancellation method provided through your account, membership portal, checkout provider, or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future billing. It does not automatically refund past payments unless required by law or expressly stated in a specific offer. You must cancel before your next billing date to avoid being charged for the next billing cycle. After cancellation, your access to membership content may continue until the end of your paid billing period, unless otherwise stated at checkout or inside your membership platform. 12. Failed Payments
If your payment fails, we or our payment processor may attempt to charge your payment method again. If payment is not successfully processed, we may suspend or terminate your access to the membership, subscription, or digital content. You are responsible for updating your payment information to maintain access.
13. Free Trials, Founding Member Pricing, and Promotional Offers
From time to time, we may offer free trials, discounted trials, founding member pricing, promotional pricing, limited-time offers, or bonus content. Promotional offers may be subject to additional terms shown at checkout or on the sales page. Unless otherwise stated, promotional pricing may renew at the regular subscription price after the promotional period ends. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue promotions at any time.
14. UK Consumer Rights
If you are located in the United Kingdom, you may have certain rights under UK consumer protection laws, including rights related to clear pre-contract information, digital content, cancellation, and remedies where digital content is faulty or not as described. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited under UK law. For digital content and subscriptions, your cancellation rights may depend on whether you have accessed the digital content, whether immediate access was requested, and the specific terms shown at checkout.

Social media performance Results depend on many factors, including your implementation, location, audience, offer, pricing, consistency, business strategy, market conditions, platform algorithms, and other factors outside our control. You are responsible for your own business decisions, marketing actions, and results.
16. User Conduct
You agree not to: Violate any laws
Upload malicious code
Attempt unauthorized access to the Site
Share login details
Harass, abuse, or harm other users
Use automated scraping tools
Copy or scrape our Content
Post misleading, infringing, or unlawful content
Use our products or Site for fraudulent or illegal purposes We reserve the right to remove content, restrict access, or terminate accounts if these rules are violated.
17. Testimonials and User Content
If you submit testimonials, reviews, tags, comments, screenshots, social media posts, or other content, you grant The Salon Social a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use that content for marketing, promotional, and business purposes. You represent that you have the rights to any content you submit. You may request that we stop using a testimonial or piece of User Content by contacting us. We will review reasonable requests, but we may not be able to remove content that has already been printed, published, shared, or distributed.
18. Third-Party Links and Platforms
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, checkout pages, payment processors, Canva, social media platforms, email platforms, or other external resources. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, policies, availability, or actions of third-party platforms. Your use of third-party platforms may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
19. Platform Access and Canva Templates
Some of our templates may be provided through Canva or another third-party design platform. You are responsible for having access to any third-party platform needed to use the templates. We are not responsible for changes made by Canva or other third-party platforms, including changes to pricing, features, access, template functionality, or account requirements.
20. Availability of Site and Membership
We make reasonable efforts to keep the Site and membership platform available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Access may be interrupted due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, third-party platform outages, or circumstances outside our control. We are not liable for temporary interruptions or delays in access.
21. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site, products, or memberships if we believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination for violation of these Terms, your license to use the purchased Content or membership materials ends immediately. You may not continue using, sharing, or distributing our Content after termination.
22. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Salon Social will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site, products, services, or membership. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid to us within the twelve months prior to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

25. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from these Terms will be resolved through binding individual arbitration, except where prohibited by law or where claims qualify for small claims court. You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits to the fullest extent permitted by law. This section does not limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
26. Time Limit to Bring Claims
Any claim related to the Site, products, services, memberships, or these Terms must be brought within one year after the claim arises, unless a longer period is required by applicable law.
27. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
28. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and any checkout terms or offer-specific terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and The Salon Social regarding the use of the Site, products, services, and memberships.
